Percepção da Governança Familiar em uma Pequena Empresa de Turismo Rodoviário

Este trabajo fue creado para comprender mejor cómo la gobernanza familiar, un tema relativamente nuevo, se aplica a las pequeñas empresas familiares. Las empresas familiares tienen una importancia significativa en la economía y en el níveo de empleo. La pregunta de investigación que adoptó este estudio es: cómo la gobernanza familiar influye en las pequeñas empresas familiares en la industria del transporte. Se realizó una entrevista en profundidad con el propietario y gerente de una pequeña empresa de autobuses turísticos en Americana, São Paulo, Brasil. Se encontró que la firma no adopta los mecanismos comunes de gobernanza, y gran parte de las relaciones dependen de la confianza y el comportamiento de los familiares, el estudio señala que algunos de los mecanismos de gobernanza familiar podrían tener impactos positivos en la empresa estudiada y otras.
