The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the behavior of a pneumatic circuit using a latex reservoir for air reception and storage, with the aim of proving its functionality and energy efficiency. The goal was to prevent the air from one of the pistons used from being expelled into the atmosphere during operation, but rather collected and stored for subsequent reuse while the system was still operational. The results concluded that by using the latex reservoir, it was possible to reuse the air to actuate one of the actuators, thereby reducing the volume of air required for its operation compared to a system without such implementation. This process is considered uncommon in the industry in general. Consequently, it can be implemented in practice to meet sustainability and energy efficiency goals, resulting in reduced energy costs.
